BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Central Carolina Black Nurses Council, Inc. has been in existence since 1982, yet there are many African-American and other minority nurses who still do not know or barely know that we exist. Many ask - Why do we need a Black Nurses organization?, so in honor of Black History month I am sharing this presentation done by one of our members, Kiana Cooper, BSN, RN who joined as a student and is a recent graduate of Winston-Salem State University.
